Cooking Sherpa AR Prototype – Magic Leap One – Seattle VR/AR Hackathon 2018

In September of 2018 I participated in the Seattle VR/AR Hackathon where I was part of a team that built an Augmented Reality cooking helper App called Cooking Sherpa on a Magic Leap One headset. In addition to creating 3D models and sound assets for the project, I helped the developers work through project blockers in Unity to make sure we had a working app submitted by the deadline. Muser – iOS App

Muser was an iOS app I developed and released in 2012 on the App Store. It was an inspiration generator for writers which used a randomized combination of photographs and idea cards to generate story ideas. I developed it in Corona, a cross-platform 2d game engine using the Lua programming language. After 2014, I removed it from the App store as the sales were not sufficient to pay the continued license fees for all of the photographers whose work was featured in the app. It was a great learning experience and my first adventure in developing and shipping software!
